soooo i guess i had better update this thing.

i intensely dislike the new interface that dA is using. i no longer know how to do anything. but i figured out how to upload pictures! expect my vacation paintings to come soon.

in other news, got thrown out of the artists' collective. ::shrugs:: moving on to bigger and better places.

that being said, i've got a show coming up. i currently have 3 pieces ready, im hoping to have up to 9. but quality over quantity this time. unlike open studio where you just make crappy work the way they want you to so they get off your back.

i know i must be making good work now, because my professors wouldve hated it.

ive been getting into collage. ive got this great roll of fuzzy wrapping paper that ive been using. used it in Figure Collage, am about to insert it into a painting i am very very angry at. that'll learn it to defy me.

the beast must be wrestled more often now. expanded the drop cloth in my studio to give me another two feet. makes a difference.

so yeah. shut up and go paint.


advanced crits are always welcome. tear me to shreds. i was an art major, i learned to take it. and i also learned to have a will and do whatever the hell i want.
